The Lyon collection of bedroom furniture , from Willis & Gambier, combines traditional French rustic design with a contemporary wood finish to produce a range that is highly characterful. Crafted from solid American white Oak and Oak veneers, the golden tones of the wood are enhanced by the subtle, lacquered finish. The pared down classic design results in a range that suits both modern and country living. The elegant curves of the sleigh bed work well with the unfussy solidity of other pieces to produce a range of great character and distinction. The range has a unique quality due to the fact that the small imperfections that characterise the timber have occurred naturally in the forest rather than through an artificial distressing process. Grain detail and knotting adds authentic character.
